Day 1 Explore the Highlights of Phnom Penh – Cambodia’s Capital City

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a full-day tour to explore Phnom Penh, the vibrant capital city of Cambodia. Phnom Penh is the country’s economic, political, and cultural hub, featuring a mix of historical landmarks, colonial architecture, and modern development.

Morning Exploration – Cambodia’s Dark History to visit Choeung Ek Genocide Center (The Killing Fields) this site serves as a memorial to the victims of the Khmer Rouge regime (1975–1979). Our professional guide will provide a detailed explanation of the tragic history and significance of this site, where thousands of prisoners from Tuol Sleng Prison (S-21) were executed. Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21 Prison) a former high school converted into a prison and interrogation center during the Khmer Rouge regime, where thousands of Cambodians were imprisoned and tortured. Day 2 Discover Oudong Mountain, Silver Smith Making Village and Phnom Baset

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic and cultural journey to explore Oudong Mountain, the Silver Smith Making Village, and Phnom Baset, offering a mix of history, spirituality, and traditional craftsmanship. Oudong Mountain, once the royal capital of Cambodia (1618–1866) before the capital moved to Phnom Penh, Oudong is home to several ancient temples and stupas that house the remains of Khmer kings, including King Monivong. The majestic hilltop stupas can be seen from miles away and offer panoramic views of the countryside. Sontte Wan Buddhist Meditation Center, visit the largest Buddhist meditation center in Cambodia, known for its peaceful ambiance, intricate architecture, and beautifully decorated pagodas.
