Cambodia visa extension and work permit
For people staying on — E-class extensions, work permits, driving licences

What we handle
The four E-class extensions
Which extension you apply for depends on why you are here. They cost different amounts and carry different rights.
EB — business
The one most expats hold: people working, their spouses and children, freelancers and volunteers. Available for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. Dependants apply on the visa-holder's employment letter plus proof of the relationship.
EG — seeking work
For people looking for employment. 1, 3 or 6 months.
ER — retirement
Normally granted from age 55. Holders do not need a work permit. Available for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.
ES — student
Requires a letter from a registered Cambodian school and evidence you can support yourself.
Two things people get wrong
If you are self-employed and have registered a business, you can write your own employment letter — it needs your company stamp. If you have not registered a business yet, that is something we also do.
What it costs
Government fees change, and what you pay depends on your nationality, the class of permit and how quickly you need it. We quote per case, in writing, with the government fee and our service fee shown separately — so you can see exactly what is ours and what is the state's. Ask and we will come back to you, normally within one working day.
Ask about an extension
Tell us which visa you hold, how long you want to stay and whether you will be working. We will tell you which extension applies and what it involves.
