Licensed Cambodian guides, in ten languages, by the day

A guide is the difference between looking at a wall of carvings and reading it. Ours are licensed, they are Cambodian, and they know the bas-reliefs at Angkor well enough to walk you along one and tell you the story it is telling — as well as what is happening in the village you drove through to get there.

What a guided day involves

A licensed guide for the day, at the sites you have chosen.
Transport, if you want it — private air-conditioned car, or a tuk-tuk for the small circuit.
Your pace. Angkor rewards an early start and an afternoon off. A guide who works for you rather than a schedule is the point of hiring one.
Photography help. Where to stand and when, which matters more at sunrise than any lens.

Park entry and site tickets are not included — they are paid at the official ticket centre and charged at cost.

What it costs

A guide is priced by the day, and depends on the language, the sites and whether you want transport. Tell us your dates and what you want to see and we will quote it.

Where they guide

Siem Reap and the whole Angkor Archaeological Park, Phnom Penh, and the provinces beyond both — the coast, the north-east, Battambang and the Tonle Sap. If you are going somewhere unusual, ask; between them our guides cover most of the country.
